For those that missed my last workshop at my house here are the projects we did.
The picture includes two versions of the rose card and hot air balloon card, that I had as creative options.
The rose card features the manhattan flower embossing folder. The different looks depend on which side of the embossed paper that your brayer. We used pink pirouette ink and melon mambo paper. This was a simple card to make and makes a big statement. Heres a close-up.
The next card we made featured the Loads of Love stamp set, which is one of my favorites and is sadly retiring. This one used island indigo paper and the water color pencils. I was plesantly surprised that the brads were able to go through the paper and ribbon.
The next card featured the Up and Away stamp set. I made two options with this one. One included the lace ribbon border punch and some brads from Sale-a-bration. The trick to this one is the cool clouds. I actually used white-out to make them. The balloons were stamped and colored then cut out with a dimensional placed behind them. The paper color is marina mist.
The last card is a cute flip-flop card. It features the greenhouse garden stamp set that is also retiring at the end of the month. (sigh, another favorite) I made a template for the flipflop which was stamped and layered on so saffron paper. The flower was cut out using the big shot and the Fun Flower die. The glitter brad really finished it off.
