It’s that time of year again where kids put on cute costumes and go door-to-door begging for candy. Normally people don’t make cards for Halloween, but I decided to try to do a card or new project each week leading up to halloween to share some fun ideas and to get me into the habit of regularly posting. Here is my first fun idea its a spiderman card, which would be good for a variety of occasions.
To make this card you will need the following Stampin’ Up items:
– riding hood red and not quite navy blue, whisper white, and basic black.
-spider web embossing folder
-full heart punch
-brayer
Run the riding hood red through the embossing folder in the big shot. Then lightly brayer black ink over the red to make the spider webs pop. Using the heart punch, punch out a heart in white. Cut the heart in half and glue the halfs on a scrap of black. Cut out around the halfs to give the eyes a nice black edge. Glue the eyes down on the embossed piece and then glue the whole face onto the not quite navy card.
Enjoy 🙂
Love this!!! Perfect Birthday card for those Spiderman lovin’ children (or adults)!
Love it! ! ! I have a 3 year old who is a big fan of Spiderman. I will be making these for his birthday party as invitations. Thank you very much.
Love this idea, thanks for sharing.
