Star Wars Rey Card

Star Wars Rey Card

May the fourth might not quite be here yet, but I still wanted to go ahead and share this awesome Star Wars themed Rey card. It is yet another example of the versatility of the wonderful Beautiful You set.

Ready to make one yourself check out my Youtube video below.

**Update – So apparently pregnancy brain strikes again and I forgot to show in the video how I drew her stick in hand. A special thanks to the ladies who pointed out my omission.

Here is how I did it, I started with a scrap of card stock that had a straight edge. I lined up the straight edge of paper between her two hands and used the edge as a guide to draw a straight line. I skipped over the stamped section of Rey. From my guide line I added width to fill out the stick and rounded the ends. I hope that makes sense.

Why did you not add her “pole” to the card you did on the video? How did you do it?

Thanks Stephanie, It was a complete oversight. I’m blaming the pregnancy brain. I’ll edit my blog post to include it, but here is how I did it. I used a small scrap of paper with a straight edge and lined it up between her hands. Then I drew a line along the guide edge skipping the section that had Rey. I hope that makes sense. If I get a chance I may take some pictures to add to the blog description.
