Cowgirl Card

Happy Friday everyone,

Here is a cute card I made for a wedding shower. My girlfriend is a bit of a cowgirl at heart so I wanted to combine a cowboy boot and flowers. I feel it turned out really well. IMG_2985For this project I used all Stampin’ Up products: crumb cake, basic black and whisper white paper, crochet ribbon, an antique brad. Flower shop stamp set and coordinating pansy punch. The sentiment is from the Word Play stamp set.

Recent workshop Fun

Hello guys,

I’ve got lots of great pictures to share from recent workshops. If you have missed one of my two recent workshops this is what you missed. For the box card workshop everyone made four box cards for $20. With lots of creative freedom, everyone made some lovely box cards. What do you think?

These are the projects we made at my other workshop. This one was a $10 workshop. We made the peacock card in using Blackberry Bliss paper. The Hershey kiss flower was made using the on-line tutorial I found here: http://qbeesquest.blogspot.com/2013/07/hersheys-kisses-flower-tutorial.html

The little purses each hold a Hershey nugget and the last project was covering a simple dollar store notebook with designer series paper. I hope you enjoy these pictures. More coming soon.

Baldwin Park Independence Day Bash

10410861_10152307351616312_8305356368806459057_nBaldwin Park Independence Day Bash

I did my biggest event to date on July 5 at Baldwin Park’s annual Independence Day Bash. I borrowed a 10×10 tent from my friends at Barnwood BBQ and spent over a week producing inventory for the expected 1000 plus crowd. Unfortunately things don’t always go as planned and the event was almost rained out. My husband and I stuck it out and made a few sales, but overall the event wasn’t really profitable for us. I also lost my cardboard stand due to the rain. 🙁

On the plus side I learned a lot and figured out a nice set-up for my cards for future events. I also have a great deal of inventory that I will be putting on etsy. I have several pictures of these new items that I made. Enjoy!

Happy Halloween!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween. I wanted to share some of my Halloween creations including the treat bags I made to give out this year. I decided to go with a monster house theme. The window silhouettes were made from plastic black table cloth I traced and cut out. The garage face is poster board attached with double sided removable poster mounts.

Nerdy Cards

Nerdy Card Fun

IMG_2378Hello everyone,

I’ve been working on a few new designs for a craft fair I’m hoping to be a vendor at the first week of December. Pikachu and the turtles might be some of the projects in my October Halloween workshop. I’m also thinking of doing a series of Dr. Who cards, with the tardis traveling to several different locations, like the mountains, beach, etc.. I might call the card set, “The Doctor’s travels”.

IMG_2377

These tardis in space cards were made with a new technique I was trying out. I stamped the image in white ink and colored over it in color pencil. I love how they turned out and I’m eager to try this technique on another card.

IMG_2380The Pikachu and pokeball cards, along with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were made using punched out shapes. I love how they are super simple to make and are easily recognizable. These would be perfect for a kids birthday or any kid at heart.

Leave a comment and let me know what you think. These cards are available for sale just send me a message with what you are interested in and how many and I’ll get back to you. I am willing to ship and I accept payments through paypal. Until next time.
