Happy Easter

Just in time for easter these cute bunny treat holders hopped out of my craft room. They were made using the top note shape folded in half and various punches. The bag was made using the SU clear envelopes. The opening of the bag is at the bottom so it can easily be refilled. I think they are just super cute!

Flight of the Butterflies

I’m very excited to share some of my recent creations with you. I made these using the Swallowtail stamp (129213) from the new spring catalog and using Stampin’ Ups black embossing powder (109133) . I hope you enjoy them.

Leadership Continued…

Here are more pictures from my time at Leadership in Orlando. If you want to see more pictures from my time at leadership check out my previous post.

These are pictures from a table display Stampin’ Up had to showcase projects from kits. They also featured newer products from the spring catalog. I really liked the use of the designer series paper on several of the cards.

Stampin’ Up Leadership Convention

I had a great time at Leadership in Orlando! This year Stampin’ Up celebrates its 25th anniversary. Part of the mission statement is on the banner to “love what we do and share what we love.” I really felt the love for Stampin’ Up from everyone I met.

Look at all those demonstrators in one room! I was overwhelmed by the sheer number. The other picture is from one of the class, I took. The content of the classes was great in fact it was the one on increasing your media presence that has inspired me to improve this website and update more frequently.

These are some of the boards that Stampin’ Up brought to showcase some projects using some of their new products. I really enjoyed looking at all of these great ideas. It made me eager to get home and start creating.

This last group of pictures are from the boards Stampin’ Up put up for demonstrators to showcase the cards they made for swaps. I had so many favorites that I had to post as many pictures as possible. I figured my readers wouldn’t mind seeing extra pictures of cards. 🙂 I made the batman card, which you can find on an older post, for my swaps. I received so many amazing swaps that I will be showcasing them on a future post and on a separate gallery section soon.

I still have more pictures from leadership to share, but I think this post is probably long enough for now. Until next time.

I know its not a paper craft but these turned out so cute I had to share. I saw this idea on Pinterest and was so glad that it worked out since it was a bit last minute. The original idea can be found here : http://club.chicacircle.com/cupcake-onesies-gift-idea/

Here’s my version sorry the pic isn’t very good it was taken in the car on the way to church for a boys baby shower. They are made from twisting baby onesies into cupcake form.

February Workshop at Hyder Gallery

If you missed the last workshop at Hyder gallery in Sanford, you missed a great time. These were the projects we created. I was asked to do a generic friendship theme since we did a Valentines theme at the January one. Mark your calendar the next gallery workshop is on March 9th from 11am-12:30, don’t forget to RSVP.

The first project was a reese treat holder. We used bravo burgundy and crumb cake as the primary colors. The stamp was stamped on very vanilla and punched out with the 2 1/2 inch punch. The band was embossed using the square lattice folder. The finishing touch was a small gold brad at the top. These are the products used and their corresponding codes.

Just thinking (stamp) 129940 $11.95

square lattice embossing folder 119976 $7.95

2 1/2” circle punch 120906 $16.95

3/16” metallic brads(120 a pack) 119741 $6.95

This was a very simple stamp and go card. It features the Oh, Hello set. The colors are very vanilla, early espresso, more mustard, so saffron and old olive. The wavy circle was stamped in the so saffron and the flower was colored with SU markers before stamping.

Simple Gift Idea

Hello everyone,
I’m taking a break from all the unpacking to share a simple project I did for a birthday gift. It was for a girlfriend who loves music. I got the idea from another friend on facebook. First I found out what her favorite piece of music was, since she loves classical operas I was able to find the music free on-line. I printed the music on very vanilla paper (101650) and stamped the edges with the smaller flowers in the Stippled Blossoms stamp set (126747). The colors I used are early espresso (sponged background)(126974), marina mist(126962), island indigo(126986),  and old olive(126953). I stamped the leaves first and then the flowers and used the vines to connect them and cover mistakes. I finished it with a simple dark brown frame. I hope you like it.

New Year, New House, New Craft Room

Happy New Years!!

I hope everyone had a good time over the holidays. I’ve had so much going on and I’m very excited to share with you. For those who may not know we recently purchased a new house in Longwood in December. It has been a big job doing the repairs and packing to move from Sanford. We hope to be fully moved in by this weekend and I look forward to hosting workshops in the new house.  Here’s a picture.

I am also having fun planning out my new craft room. The idea so far is a shade of blue-gray on the walls and my white craft furniture. This is the painting in progress.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Greeting everyone, I hope you are all planning on spending time with family and friends as the year ends. This will be my last post for the year. I hope you enjoy these holiday pictures and projects. From my family to yours I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday season.

These are pictures from our church holiday party. This year instead of a united theme they had volunteers decorate a table each. It yielded some lovely tables. I decorated a table with Stampin’ Up products and homemade ornaments as an example of some of the things you can make with Stampin’ Up items. The ornaments were made with the circle punch folded in half and glued together with a loop of ribbon in the center. The napkin rings were made with the flower punch.
