Today’s YouTube video was chosen by popular vote on my Facebook page from the selection of cards I featured in my last Facebook live video. Even after this paper retires you can still make a similar design using any nautical set. Enjoy!

I absolutely love the myths and magic suite! It is definitely one of my favorites! I had so much fun creating cards using this set recently. If you missed my recent Facebook live you can check it and the featured cards made from the suite below.
Fun with the Mermaids from the Designer Series Paper
This one was inspired by Disney’s Fantasia. Can you see Mickey in the window? Gold embossing powder on a sponged background.
This one was inspired by a friend from the home office, Nick, one of our business advisors who had mentioned the old school choose your own adventure books. It was a fun concept that I ran with.
inside of card
A fun dragon shaker card using the new gold glitter flakes. There may have been a bit of a mess in the craftroom after this one.
What’s better than an awesome dragon card? An awesome dragon card that lights up!!
These are my latest batch of light-up creations and I love how they turned out!
I used the paper from the Eastern Palaces DSP and sponged it for the look of scales.

Today’s video was brought back from last year due to popular request. It’s a great project to use up some of your paper stash and really makes a great gift. I have several examples to inspire your gift giving. It’s makes a perfect basket just in time for Easter. I hope everyone enjoys it.
Do you want a printable tutorial on how to make this cute box? I do have one here you can print out for personal use. However I do feel the YouTube video is a bit easier to follow.
It’s taken far too long to finish, but my latest YouTube video is now up. I actually decided to split it into two separate videos for those who may just be interested in how I colored the birds with the blends and those who want to know how to construct the card. Enjoy!

featuring the Party Pandas stamp set with a live card making demo
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new years last night. I know we had a very eventful December. For those who may have missed my Facebook post this is what I shared after Christmas.
We had a very exciting Christmas as we got to announce to our parents that we are expecting our first child in July. They of coarse are very excited for us. For those who may have been disappointed with my Stampin’ Star Wars Month only having two projects so far this is the reason why. I have been dealing with very bad morning sickness, nausea, and fatigue that sadly has sidelined my crafting. I am hoping that as I hit my second trimester I will feel a lot better and be able to get ahead on my SU projects. Since my health has been unpredictable recently I have yet to officially schedule events for January. I want to be sure I am up to hosting an event first.
With the upcoming arrival of the baby I know my SU business will be changing quite a bit in 2018. My current plan is to still do events in the house as long as I am up to hosting them. In general though I intend to be increasing my online events, Facebook lives, YouTube, etc as I decrease events in the house. Once I feel steadily better I plan to prep as many of these in advance as I can. Please just be patient with me during this transition. Thank you everyone for your support.
In celebration of the upcoming new Star Wars movie “The Last Jedi”, I decided to do a series of Star Wars themed projects this month. I kicked off the fun in my facebook live video this week. If you missed the video live you can still check it out here. Check out my first project the BB-8 spinning card below and check back for the next Star Wars themed project next week.
My first project of the month is this fun BB-8 themed spinning card.

I just got back from our big annual Stampin’ Up convention in Salt Lake City. I was so happy that one of my team members was able to join me this year. So Diane Kessluk was my roommate and I got to enjoy introducing her to some new demo friends. Plus its always fun to see someone enjoy their first time at such an awesome event. We enjoyed a tour of Stampin’ Up’s home office in Riverton. It’s such a lovely space with a huge rock feature in the center and a cool mini museum of the company’s history. Enjoy some of my pictures. I also love that the employees have product samples everywhere.

These are pictures from the Legacy Room, the mini SU museum. They update the samples to contain current products.
Touring the call center is always fun, the employees desks are covered in cards and project samples they have made and received.
We also got to see the ideas room, which is a fun meeting space and the warehouse where orders are processed. I did a short couple of videos I edited together so you can see where your stampin’ up orders are processed.
pick line where products are added to the boxes
They have flags in the warehouse representing each country represented by SU employees
As demonstrators at the convention we got to see and play with new product coming up in the occasions and sale-a-bration catalogs. We also got to network with other demonstrators from around the world who attended. It is so much fun to be a demo and get to attend one of these events. Now there are plenty of upcoming items that I can’t show you yet, but I will say I’m very excited about them!! I know you will love this upcoming catalog and I look forward to sharing it with you. Here are a few other pictures from our weekend adventures at the convention.

In today’s YouTube tutorial I wanted to created a fun fall themed card using our new blends markers. What’s great is that these markers dry fast and work well for coloring on vellum. I’m overall happy with how it turned out. Enjoy!
