Now I know my photos won’t do the colors justice as the vibrant hues don’t appear as sharp in my photos, but I did want to share some of my projects colored with these awesome makers. They really do make you feel like an artist!

Here is a z-fold birthday card I made for my mom’s recent birthday with the Rose Wonder Stamp set and the Calypso Coral and Old Olive markers.

These breast cancer awareness were also colored with the markers, primarily Night of Navy, Pink Pirouette, and Rich Razzleberry.

My video from last week showed how to stamp on candles using an old technique with tissue paper. I’m excited to say that over the weekend it had over 900 views in three days. Who would have guessed it would be that popular? I’m very encouraged by the great feedback I have gotten from everyone. Now to decide what to do next. 🙂

Here are the products that are on sale during this limited time promotion. It’s a great time to place an order for Christmas presents.

We just got back from a very fun Caribbean cruise last week. Of coarse I decided to bring some items to color. My husband laughed at me not taking a vacation from Stampin’ Up, but I do find coloring relaxing. Plus some pre-stamped images and a selection of markers fit quite well in an empty paper pumpkin box. I look forward to sharing more of my colored creations soon.

Today’s card tutorial was inspired from Stampin’ Up’s Beachy Little Christmas Stamp set and some very colorful houses I saw in the Bahamas.

Oh little town of Bethlehem…

hehe the classic song was definitely in my head while I was making this one. I have seen so many amazing cards using the eclipse technique. These eclipse cards by my fellow Stampin’ Up demonstrators inspired this version for today’s video.

I had fun playing with the Night in Bethlehem stamp set and I’m very happy how my other samples turned out. The black and white Christmas cards have a very classic look. The shepherd card I think I might turn into a future video as I really like how the starry night looks with the clear embossing on white.  Which of the cards is your favorite?

It has definitely been a very eventful weekend here in central Florida. Hurricane Irma hit Florida this weekend leaving a path of destruction, thankfully we had plenty of time to prepare and the majority of the damage is in down trees and power outages.

On a personal note we are feeling very blessed that the damage to our house was minimal and should all be covered by insurance. We also got power back on Tuesday and I have a whole new appreciation for AC. It gets hot in central Florida! I thought you might enjoy seeing some of my pictures. We will have to get a new pool screen and gutters, but it could have been way worse.

This week’s video tutorial is one of the card options from my recent holiday launch party. I love how simple and easy it is. This cat punch is so much fun! I kind of got carried away making cute cats. Which one is your favorite? I’m currently not planning on doing additional videos of these other versions unless they are requested by popular demand since the measurements are basically the same.

I fell in love with this set after seeing so many amazing sunflower themed creations with it from my fellow Stampin’ Up Demonstrators. It is so perfect for fall and I couldn’t help but to think of a garden full of sunflowers and this card was born. I’m actually going to be having a local class using this fun set on Sept 28, so you can expect to see more projects with this set soon. In the meantime I hope you like my Z-fold Sunflower Card.
